Poor fireworks display. We see better at our local 4th of July show. If you’re at magic kingdom is [sic] suggest skipping them all together and try to get in a few more rides. Won’t be missing much!

The Basics – Wishes Fireworks
- Park: Magic Kingdom. Check times guide for show time (once per night, weather permitting)
- Cost: free!
- Location: Can be viewed from throughout the park, but music is piped in and lights are dimmed throughout Main Street, U.S.A. My two favorite viewing spots are from halfway down Main Street, U.S.A. (where this video is shot) or on the railing at the corner of the hub straight up from Casey’s Corner and across from the popcorn wagon on the walkway to Adventureland. Outside of the park, Wishes can also be viewed from the Contemporary (either the 15th or 4th floor observation deck), Polynesian, or Grand Floridian.
- The hook: Fireworks. About wishes. Narrated by Jiminy Cricket with full music underscoring the magic.
- Have I done it? At least once each trip.
Should I do it?
Um, yes. This has become a last night tradition for me, but I see it at least twice each trip.
If I don’t do it, what should I do instead?
I honestly have no idea. Go to bed early?
